adminy type things
------------------

[X] website changes
     X mostly done, need to keep updating.
     - need to make it so that title show up.  this will involve some makefile hackery.

[X] mailing lists
     - are working, will fix any problems as they arise.

[X] lvhpt/sharedtlb
     - awaiting a beautified patch from matt - got 19/12/2002
     - made packages, need to get libc stuff going 
         - this done (ported forward to 2.3), but it's unstable as hell.  need to go through it with matt.
     - wrote sample webpage, need to fix up errors
         - re-drafed, is more understandable now i hope.
     - 29/03/2003 : gernot needs a TR soon for intel; matt is touching up long vhpt patches and will pass to me
     - 28/05/2003 : complete!  http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/sharedtlb/
     - more work to be done on tlb sharing ... long term however.

threading
---------

[X] NPTL works on IA64. I have learnt *heaps* keeping up with it's development.
    - fast syscall support in testing (Ulrich Drepper tells me this is in a state of flux on 
    i386 so my changes should wait till that has stabilised)

[X] test it all
    - created and release debian archives in the hope of getting some community testing
    - i have had zero problems -- others are starting to benchmark it now
    
[X] benchmark
    - have done some benchmarking at http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/IA64wiki/NPTLbenchmarks
    - submitted a short abstract to auug conference about ia64 threads. 
    
[ ] investigate posix test suite -- perhaps we can contribute to the 
    threading component of this.

documentation
-------------

[X] begin work on a presentation on how nptl works & ia64 support -- 
    will be good to have.
    - now due RSN
    - need to update wiki with latest results
