I was wrong. The problem is I build kernel as myself and do

# make modules_install

as root. As the result, I got

-rw-r--r--    1 root     root          657 Aug  6 08:04 check_gas_for_hint.o

after "make modules_install". When I rebuild the kernel again as myself,
I got

[hjl@gnu-2 scripts]$ rm check_gas_for_hint.o
rm: remove write-protected file `check_gas_for_hint.o'?
